Mumbai: Youth arrested for threatening to kill Modi, Yogi

Mumbai, Nov 21 (UNI) Mumbai Police arrested a youth on Tuesday for allegedly issuing threats in the name of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Sources said Kamran Khan allegedly called the Mumbai Police control room on Monday evening and claimed that he had been asked by Dawood Ibrahim’s henchman to bomb Modi and Yogi..

Police immediately swung into action and traced the caller and detained him from the Chunabhatti area of Mumbai.

Mumbai’s Azad Maidan police station has registered a case against the youth under section 505 (1) of the IPC and are investigating further in the matter.
