MP Congress President Jitu Patwari escapes severe accident on Indore-Bhopal Highway

Bhopal, In a startling incident on Thursday, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari narrowly escaped a severe accident when a speeding truck collided with his vehicle on the Indore-Bhopal Highway. The mishap occurred near the Fanda Toll Plaza around 10:45 AM as Patwari was en route from Indore to Bhopal to attend a Shaheed Diwas program at the Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters.

According to reports, the truck rammed into the rear of Patwari’s Toyota Fortuner, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Fortunately, Patwari, along with his personal security officer, cameraman, and driver, emerged unscathed from the accident. The truck driver was also reported to be safe.

Following the incident, Patwari took to social media to assure his well-wishers of his safety. He stated, “Today, while traveling from Indore to Bhopal, a truck hit my car from behind near Sehore, causing an accident. By God’s grace, my entire staff, the truck driver, and I are safe, and there has been no loss of life.”

MPCC demands security for their president

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee expressed concerns over Patwari’s security, highlighting that they had previously urged the state government to ensure adequate protection for their party president. In a statement, they reiterated their request, emphasizing the need for heightened security measures.

Local authorities have registered a case against the truck driver, who has been arrested following the incident. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the collision.

This incident has sparked discussions about the safety of political figures and the importance of stringent traffic regulations on busy highways. The Congress party’s call for improved security measures underscores the need for proactive steps to ensure the safety of public servants.
