Bhopal. Shocked by the removal of slums in Moti Nagar of Narela Assembly without displacement, laborer Naseer Qureshi, who lived there, committed suicide by getting hit by a train. On one hand, the BJP government is busy in the investor meet, on the other hand, no one is taking care of the residents of Moti Nagar, the government wants to demolish their houses and shops without displacement and evict them. There is an atmosphere of fear in the entire colony. People are worried about themselves and their families. The tragic suicide committed by laborer Naseer Qureshi on Monday is the result of this fear. As soon as the news of death was received, Congress leader Manoj Shukla reached there and met the victim’s family and consoled them and personally provided financial assistance of Rs 10,000/-. He assured the victim’s family and the residents of the colony that he stands with them in every adverse situation. He also warned the government to make proper arrangements for the displacement of Moti Nagar colony, otherwise in the next 3 days, along with all the Moti Nagar residents, he will surround the Collector’s office demanding shop in exchange for shop and house in exchange for house.
