First bat given to me was by my sister which was a Kashmir willow bat: Tendulkar

Srinagar, Feb 21 (UNI) Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who is vacationing in Kashmir, turned nostalgic, saying that he got his first bat from his sister which was a Kashmir willow bat.

On Saturday last, Tendulkar, accompanied by his wife Anjali and daughter Sara, stopped at Chursoo in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, to inspect Kashmiri bats at a manufacturing unit.

In a post on X Tendulkar said, “ The first bat given to me was by my sister and it was a Kashmir willow bat. Ab main yahan hoon to Kashmir willow ko to milna banta hai!”
