Drizzle in Bhopal, Indore; fog engulfs many dists

Bhopal: Chilling cold continues with cold winds in Madhya Pradesh. Due to active Western Disturbance, the entire state is shivering. Drizzle started in Bhopal, Indore, Rajgarh, Sehore and Bhind from Wednesday morning itself.

On Tuesday also, light rain was recorded in Indore, Ashoknagar, Guna and Agar. Actually, this change is being seen in the weather due to the active western disturbance. People are troubled by the dense fog, while a significant drop in temperature has also been observed.

On Wednesday, 18 districts of the state including Bhopal and Gwalior remained under the influence of moderate to dense fog. According to meteorologists, cold winds will continue to blow in the state till January 15. Light rain may also occur in the Gwalior-Chambal division.

Due to cold winds, there is a significant drop in the temperature of Madhya Pradesh. It was a cold day in Bhopal, Gwalior and Shivpuri on Tuesday. The lowest temperature was recorded in Gwalior on Tuesday. Khajuraho, Shahdol, Rewa and Datia were also among the coldest districts and the temperature remained around 10 degrees.

The weather in the state has changed since the beginning of the new year. Cold winds are blowing and there is also dense fog. The cold winds continued to blow on Tuesday also. Due to this the day temperature has dropped by 1 to 3 degrees. Light drizzle also occurred in Ashoknagar, Guna and Agar on Tuesday. At the same time, there was dense fog and cold day in Bhopal, Gwalior and Shivpuri.

Talking about big cities of the state, on Tuesday the temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees in Bhopal, 26.9 degrees in Indore, 27.7 degrees in Jabalpur and 24 degrees in Ujjain. It remained cloudy here the whole day. There was mild sunshine during the day, but the cold winds were chilling.
