Bhopal – Divisional Railway Manager Shri Devashish Tripathi spearheaded a comprehensive inspection in Itarsi, scrutinizing the Electric and Diesel Loco Sheds alongside the Divisional Training Center. This proactive initiative underscored the Bhopal Division’s unwavering commitment to elevating safety standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and bolstering crucial infrastructure for seamless train services.

Shri Tripathi’s meticulous examination spanned critical areas within the Electric Loco Shed, from the advanced H12 loco and hotel load converter to the vital Effluent Treatment Plant and breakdown preparedness. He personally assessed maintenance protocols, including bogie underframe work and OHE isolation procedures, emphasizing safety at every level.

Impressed by the operational standards, he lauded the staff’s dedication and technical expertise, while also urging adherence to timelines for ongoing civil projects. Innovative locomotive modifications, geared towards enhanced energy efficiency and easier maintenance, were presented to the DRM.

At the Divisional Training Center, Shri Tripathi engaged directly with loco pilots from Bhopal and Jabalpur, addressing key operational challenges like microslip and safety protocols. His direct interaction and focus on crew well-being highlighted a holistic approach to railway management.

Attended by senior divisional officials, the inspection reaffirmed Bhopal Division’s proactive stance towards quality, safety, and embracing innovation for a robust and reliable railway network.
