TT Nagar police seize 4.1 Kg of cannabis from two accused

Bhopal, In a major drug bust, police in Bhopal arrested two individuals and seized 4.1 kilograms of illegal cannabis. The operation took place in Harshvardhan Nagar, based on a tip-off received from an informer. The information indicated that a person was selling cannabis illegally near the Sindhiya Gate area while riding a black-colored Activa scooter with four wheels.

Acting on this tip, Station In-charge Sudhir Arjariya formed a team and, along with staff and independent witnesses, set up surveillance at various locations to wait for the suspect. After a short while, a person matching the description provided by the informant arrived near the Sindhiya Gate area on a black Activa scooter. The suspect, who appeared to have a disability in one leg, stood near the Harshvardhan Nagar Sindhiya Park Gate, seemingly waiting for someone.

With the help of the staff and witnesses, the police successfully encircled and apprehended him. When questioned, the suspect identified himself as Kailash Malviya, a 40-year-old resident of J-41, Harshvardhan, TT Nagar. A search of a plastic bag in his possession revealed the illegal substance.

During interrogation, Kailash Malviya revealed that the cannabis had been given to him by his friend, Manoj Ahirwar, for sale. Acting on this lead, Manoj Ahirwar was also arrested. In total, the police seized 4.1 kilograms of cannabis from both accused.
