Ahead of the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, following a controversy over Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other Congress leaders’ tweets regarding alleged commissions aimed at encircling the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state, the BJP on Saturday attacked the Congress in this matter. Alleging that he was misleading, a complaint was lodged with the police. According to the information provided by the state BJP, a delegation of the party reached here on Saturday, before the crime branch of the police and duly submitted the complaint application along with the facts and demanded legal action by registering an FIR against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, State Congress President Kamal Nath, senior leader Jairam Ramesh, former Union Minister Arun Yadav besides other party leaders. Congress is spreading lies on social media Minister Vishwas Sarang said that neither any organization, nor any person, nor any event, yet the Congress is spreading lies on social media. He said that Congress is resorting to lies every day as soon as elections come in MP. The organization, person and address given in the letter are also fake. He said that Congress and Kamal Nath only want to mislead the people of Madhya Pradesh by resorting to falsehood.

Fake letter publicized on social media

In the complaint letter submitted by the BJP to the police, it has been said that the Congress leaders conspired to mislead the public by promoting a fake letter in the name of a contractor’s association on social media. They tried to tarnish the image of the state government. That’s why legal action should be taken against the Congress leaders who do this. In fact, on the basis of the alleged letter written by the alleged Contractor Association to the State High Court since yesterday, senior Congress leaders tweeted. On the pretext of this, these leaders targeted the BJP government of the state. In this alleged letter, it has been claimed that payment is received only after giving 50 percent commission in the state. In this letter, a person named Gyanendra Tiwari was mentioned as a complainant and the address of Gwalior’s Basant Vihar Colony Lashkar was mentioned. But neither such person nor any organization was found in the investigation of media and police administration. After this, the BJP also became aggressive and active against the Congress leaders. State officials including Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, BJP State General Secretary Bhagwan Das Sabnani, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, BJP District President Sumit Pachauri reached Crime Branch police station on Saturday. Here, the crime branch officials were handed over a memorandum to file an FIR against the Congress leaders. In this, the BJP party was accused of having committed the crime of defaming the BJP party with a false and fake letter under a conspiracy.

CM attacks Congress leaders

In this matter, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also took a dig at the Congress leaders and said that they are trying to tarnish the image of their government by spreading lies and confusion. He himself has shown the letter and neither the person who wrote the alleged letter nor any information about the address etc. of such organization was found. He said that Congress is adopting such gimmicks to gain power.
