Bhopal, A distressing case of alleged rape involving a minor student has come to light in Bhopal’s Nishatpura area. Police have arrested a college student, Bittu Kushwaha, accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl for the past three months through threats and intimidation.
The victim, an 11th-grade student from the Hanumanganj area, knew Kushwaha as he previously lived in her neighborhood. She disclosed that on March 17th, Kushwaha took her to Hotel Madhuram Residency in Nishatpura, where he allegedly threatened and forcibly raped her. He then continued to exploit her, using threats against her life.
The disturbing truth emerged when the victim’s mother, growing suspicious of their interaction, questioned her daughter rigorously. The victim then bravely revealed her ordeal, exposing the full extent of the abuse.
On Wednesday night, the victim and her mother reported the incident at the Nishatpura police station. Recognizing the severity of the allegations, police swiftly moved to apprehend Bittu Kushwaha. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. An FIR has been registered against him under relevant rape charges, and further investigation is underway.
