Mumbai, (UNI) The new song ‘Sar Aankhon Pe Mere’ from Aamir Khan’s forthcoming cinematic offering “Sitar Zameen Par” has been officially released.
‘Sitar Zameen Par’, conceived as a spiritual sequel to the acclaimed 2007 masterpiece “Taare Zameen Par”, revisits themes of emotional sensitivity and human connection through an entirely fresh narrative lens.
The newly launched song, ‘Sar Aankhon Pe Mere’, soulfully rendered by Ariijit Singh, beautifully encapsulates the serenity and sweetness of affection, with Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza portraying the tender chemistry of two souls connected by love.
Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, the film also marks the collaboration of Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka as co-producers. The screenplay has been penned by Divya Nidhi Sharma, while R. S. Prasanna is the director.
The soundtrack is composed by the illustrious trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and is elegantly complemented by Amitabh Bhattacharya’s introspective lyrics. The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on June 20.
