This flyover will be built from Ganesh Temple Chhola Road through Khedapati Hanuman Temple to Nishatpura Station. The above information was given by Cooperation Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang in a meeting held on Monday in Narela Assembly regarding the construction of Chhola flyover under Khedapati Hanuman Corridor of Bhopal. He instructed the PWD officials to prepare a detailed action plan and start the construction work of the flyover soon.

About three lakh people will benefit

Minister Sarang told reporters that currently those going to Vidisha, Bhanpur Chauraha and Khedapati Hanuman Temple have to go through two Dwarka Nagar underbridges. Big vehicles are unable to pass through these underbridges. Therefore, they have to take a detour via Nadra, Station Overbridge. With the construction of Chhola flyover, about three lakh passengers from Bhopal station to Chhola and surrounding areas will benefit. He said that with its construction, the traffic jam situation on Chhola underbridge will end. Also, travel from the old city to the new city will become easier.

This huge flyover will pass over the Khedaapati Hanuman Lok Corridor. The special thing about this flyover is that it will be in the form of an arch. The flyover will be constructed from Kali Parade near Union Carbide to Ayodhya Bypass.
