Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party took out Tiranga Yatra today from the Bharatiya Janata Party district office located at Imami Gate, which came out under the leadership of District President Sumit Pachauri. The yatra culminated at the party’s state office.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that better preparations should be ensured for the grand Tiranga Yatra to be held in Bhopal on the occasion of Independence Day on August 14. Tiranga Yatra should be given a systematic form by co-ordinating with public representatives. A grand and attractive Tiranga Yatra should be taken out. Tiranga Yatra, starting from Vilinikaran Shaheed Smriti Dwar, will culminate at Curfew Wali Mata Mandir. There will be a grand programme at Curfew Wali Mata Mandir at 4 pm. CM Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Tiranga Yatra at the residence office Samatva Bhavan today. Director General of Police Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar, Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Collector Bhopal Ashish Singh and other officers were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Chouhan will light the Mashaal (torch) during flag salutation in the programme of Tiranga Yatra. He will offer worship to Bharat Mata. The venue will be decked up with flowers, balloons and clothes on the tricolour theme. On both sides of the route of the Tiranga Yatra, tricolour flags will be hoisted on residences and establishments. Tableaux will be displayed in decorated vehicles during the yatra. Ladli Bahna Sena members, Ladli Bahnas, students, business organisations and a large number of common people will be present at the programme venue.
