Hangzhou, (UNI) Indian shooters Adarsh Singh, Anish and Vijayveer Sidhu scored 1718 points in the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol team final to bag the bronze medal at the Asian Games 2023.
It took India’s medal tally to 10 at Hangzhou.
China won the gold medal with 1765 points while the Republic of Korea claimed the silver medal with 1734 points.
Vijayveer Sidhu, meanwhile, qualified for the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol individual final after finishing sixth.
India was declared the bronze-winning team despite Indonesia having an identical score. India had a greater number of inner-10s than Indonesia on the scoresheet.
India had 45 ‘x’s, while fourth-placed Indonesia could only get 37 ‘x’s.
