Bhopal: A near-fatal accident was averted at Bhopal Railway Station this morning thanks to the swift and decisive actions of RPF personnel and a vigilant train manager. As the Jodhpur-Tiruchirappalli Humsafar Express (20481) began departing from Platform No. 1 around 09:02 AM, a 35-year-old woman attempting to board a moving AC coach lost her balance and began to fall.

RPF Sub-Inspector Ravindra Singh and Constable Anil Sharma, on duty nearby, reacted instantly, grabbing her hand and pulling her back to safety. Simultaneously, train manager Romesh Choubey, recognizing the danger, immediately applied the emergency brakes, bringing the train to a halt. The relieved woman was then safely assisted onto the coach, continuing her journey to Tiruchirappalli.
