5.0-magnitude quake hits Hokkaido, Japan Region – GFZ

Beijing, Dec 27 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Hokkaido, Japan Region at 2253 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 65.5 km, was initially determined to be at 41.98 degrees north latitude and 142.39 degrees east longitude.
