Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the youth aspiring to join Agniveer scheme launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will get 360 hours free training per batch. Addressing the state level Rozgar Diwas function at Morena today, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the youth will be given coaching in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and General Studies. This will help the youth in selection in Agniveer Yojana.
Referring to the River Linking Project, an ambitious scheme started by former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that this scheme was started to ensure all round development of villages by interlinking rivers.
Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan were also to get the benefit of this project but the previous governments did not implement it. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a mega campaign to jointly connect Parvati, Kali Sindh and Chambal rivers has been started by Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. As many as 12 districts of the state and 13 of Rajasthan will be developed under this project. Drinking and irrigation water will be available to farmers. This will bring development and prosperity in the area.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that farmers and laborers will get their rightful dues. Regarding the closed sugar factory in Morena, he said that the dues of Rs 56 crore of farmers will be returned to them. Similarly, JC Mills Gwalior will also ensure dues to to the workers. Farmers and laborers will be protected at all cost.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid homage to CRPF jawan Shri Pawan Bhadauria of Bhind who died in the Naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh. His supreme sacrifice will be remembered forever.
Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that providing employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth is praiseworthy.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav symbolically provided letters of loan amount of Rs 5151 crore 18 lakh 90 thousand to more than 7 lakh youth. This opportunity is unprecedented when 7 lakh people got jobs in one day.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred the grant amount of Rs 118 crore for the months of September and October under Ujjwala scheme and non-Ujjwala scheme to the accounts of 45 lakh 59 thousand sisters.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes , A short film based on Employment Day was screened. New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, Farmer Welfare and Agricultural Development Minister Shri Aidal Singh Kanshana, Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Shri P Narhari were present.
