- DRM Leads Rail Staff in Integrity Pledge to Launch Vigilance Week
Bhopal, The Western Central Railway (WCR), Bhopal Division, officially marked the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 today with a ceremony at the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) office complex. DRM Shri Pankaj Tyagi administered a solemn Integrity Pledge to all officers and staff, committing them to the highest standards of vigilance and ethical conduct.
Addressing the personnel, DRM Tyagi underscored the message that corruption is a major impediment to the nation’s economic, political, and social progress. He secured promises from the staff to work collaboratively to eradicate it and maintain unwavering honesty. Employees pledged to neither accept nor offer bribes and to perform all duties with integrity and transparency in the public interest, upholding the rule of law in all spheres.
A Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM) elaborated on the ceremony’s purpose, stating its goal is to solidify the employees’ commitment to ethical work practices and zero-tolerance towards corruption. This drive is crucial to enhance transparency in railway services and strengthen the public’s trust in the organization, building a culture of accountability from the ground up.
