Two police officers who came to PHQ from CBI will face punishment of suspension

  • Nursing scam– four CBI officers including DSP, three inspectors accused of bribery

The deputation of two officers of Madhya Pradesh Police Department, Inspector Sushil Kumar Majokha and Hrishikant Asathe, who were on deputation to CBI, was terminated and they were sent back to PHQ.

Now, both of them will soon face suspension from the PHQ department. Both are accused in the nursing college scam. On the other hand, former CM Kamal Nath and senior leader Arun Yadav on Friday targeted the government in this matter.

Meanwhile, PHQ sources said that an FIR has been registered against both the officers. Majokha has been arrested and is on remand while Asathe is yet to be arrested. Now preparations are being made to suspend these two officers. At present, after the arrest of 13 out of 23 accused involved in the nursing scam, CBI has taken them on remand to Delhi for questioning. They will be presented in the CBI court on May 29. Meanwhile, senior CBI officers of Delhi are very angry over the wrong investigation report given by the CBI officers investigating the scam.

It is noteworthy that Inspector Rahul Raj, arrested with a bribe of Rs 10 lakh in the nursing scam, has already been dismissed. In this case, four CBI officers including a DSP, three Inspectors have been accused of corruption.
