Trends hint at major setback for BJP as MVA ahead in 29 Maha seats

Mumbai, June 4 (UNI) BJP-led Mahayuti could be facing a major setback in Maharashtra as Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is leading on 29 seats against the former’s 18 after fourth round of counting.

As per the state trends, the MVA candidates is leading in Nashik, Hatkanangale, Shirur, Satara, Sangli, Dindori, Chandrapur and Baramati.

The MVA candidates Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai is also leading from two Mumbai seats while Ravindra Yaikar of Shinde is leading from North- west Mumbai.

In Vidarbha, the Mahayuti is ahead only on three seats all stronghold of BJP.

Praniti Shinde of Congress is leading in the Solapur Lok Sabha at the end of the fourth round over BJP’s Ram Satpute.

There is a direct fight between Maha Vikas Aghadi and Mahayuti in Maharashtra.

In the Grand Alliance, BJP has contested 28 seats, Shiv Sena Shinde Group 15, NCP Ajit Pawar Group 4 and RSP 1 seat.

In MVA, Shiv Sena (UBT) contested on 21 seats, NCP Sharad Pawar Group on 10 seats and Congress on 17 seats.
