Bhopal: On the occasion of World Health Day, the Department of Posts and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal jointly organized a stamp exhibition at the Gandhi Gallery, AIIMS Bhopal. The exhibition was inaugurated in a simple ceremony by Shri Pawan Kumar Dalmia, Director of Postal Services (Headquarters), and Colonel Dr. Ajit Kumar, Deputy Director (Administration) of AIIMS Bhopal.
Running from April 7 to 11, the exhibition showcases around 40 frames and 640 sheets related to health, diseases, and medical institutions. This year’s World Health Day theme is “Health Begins with the Start, Hope for the Future,” and the exhibition highlights this theme through valuable stamps presented by philatelists like Rajneesh Joshi, Dr. SH Khan, Ranjit Jha, SC Jain, Ashish Jain, and DR Mandal.
Various competitions and activities will be held during the event, including drawing and quiz competitions for school students. These competitions will involve students from Government Higher Secondary Schools in Semra Kala, Bagmughalia, and Raja Bhoj. Winners will be honored at the closing ceremony on April 11, which will also feature a quiz for students of Sagar Public School, Bhopal.
The exhibition will conclude on April 11, with awards given to stamp collectors and competition winners.
