33 meetings and road shows by Rahul, Priyanka, Kharge and Nath

In the last three days of the assembly elections, Congress has put all its strength into the election campaign by fielding its top stalwarts. Congress has organized 33 meetings and road shows of Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Kamal Nath before the end of the election campaign. For the last week, the route chart was made of 11 programs of Rahul Gandhi, 4 programs of Priyanka Gandhi, 5 programs of Kharge and 13 programs of Kamal Nath. Some of these meetings have already taken place and some are still pending.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has given time for eight public meetings, two road shows and one corner meeting. He held public meetings in Ashoknagar and Chanderi on 9 November and held a road show in Jabalpur on the same day. His public meetings have also been held in Satna and Rajpur. on Monday, on the second day of Diwali, on 13th November, Rahul hold public meetings in Javad and Timarni assembly, road show in Bhopal, corner meeting in Bhopal and on the day of Bhaidooj i.e. 14th November, he hold public meetings in Vidisha and Khargapur.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has planned 9 meetings which include eight public meetings and one corner meeting. Kharge has held 4 meetings so far and 5 more meetings will be held in the last week. He will hold public meetings in Bhaidooj, Sevda and Sheopur on 14th November, Amla and Berasia on 15th November and corner meetings in Bhopal. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has to address four meetings in the last week of the election campaign. She addressed public meetings in Chitrakoot and Rewa on 9th November and will address public meetings in Datia and Sinhawal on 15th November, the last day of the election campaign.
Former Chief Minister and State Congress President Kamal Nath has 13 election programs in the last week of the election campaign. He has held public meetings in Banda, Rahatgarh, Bada Malhara on 9th November, Harsud, Mandhata, Khandwa on 10th November and on 11th November in Prithvipur and Sagar. Kamal Nath held a public meeting in Narmadapuram, Sehore, Ratlam on 13th November, the second day of Diwali, while he has reserved 14th November i.e. the day of Bhai Dooj for Chambal region. He held public meetings in Dimani and Morena on this day. Kamal Nath’s MP son Nakul Nath has also registered his presence in the Congress election campaign in Chambal. He held a meeting for Hemant Katare in Ater. Katare’s father, former leader of opposition, Late. Satyadev Katare started his politics by joining the Pachauri-Nath camp.
Mayawati, Kejriwal and Mann are also holding meetings and road shows in Chambal. Apart from Congress and BJP, the supreme leader of BSP and AAP parties, which claim to be the third force, are also engaged in intensive election campaigning in Gwalior region.
BSP supreme leader Mayawati held crowded meetings in Lahar and Sevdha, while AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann held road shows in support of their candidates in Datia and Sevdha seats. Kejriwal and Mann were also to hold a road show for AAP in Gwalior assembly constituency but there was a delay in getting permission from the administration. Now another tour program of Kejriwal and Mann is being decided.

Home Minister and BJP strategist Amit Shah was on an election tour of Gwalior division on the occasion of Diwali. He tried to create an atmosphere in favor of the party candidates by holding four election meetings in Guna, Ashoknagar and Datia. On Padwa itself, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Jyotiraditya Scindia spent their day campaigning in Gwalior Chambal. These three leaders tried to cover as many assembly constituencies of the Chambal region in a single day. BJP has also fielded Union ministers who meddle in various societies in terms of caste equations. Union Minister SP Singh Baghel has taken meetings here considering the number of votes of Pal-Baghel community in Datia.
