Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s visit to Indore on September 20 and Kamal Nath’s visit to Indore on Saturday have heated up the election atmosphere in Indore. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had come to participate in Jan Ashirwad Yatras while Kamal Nath came to Indore to participate in various programs of Yuva Mahapanchayat and Congress. A huge crowd gathered in both the programs and the ticket claimants demonstrated their strength, but Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s program of participating in the Jan Ashirwad Yatra was like a road show, hence the BJP seemed more excited. In response to Jan Ashirwad Yatra, Congress has also taken out Jan Akrosh Yatra.

Both the parties give a lot of importance to Indore district because from here the air of the entire Malwa and Nimar region is supplied. There are 66 assembly seats in this zone. Obviously, Kamal Nath and Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Indore visits will continue. Here both the parties also want to finalize the process of ticket distribution. A list of BJP was released on 17th August. The second list will come by 30th September. The first list of Congress may also come on 30th September or 5th October. After the implementation of women’s reservation, both the parties are reconsidering their lists.

Although the Women’s Reservation Act will be implemented in the 2028 assembly elections, due to the atmosphere created across the country, both the parties will try to field women candidates at as many places as possible. Congress will try to field women candidates on at least two seats. Both the women candidates of BJP are expected to get tickets again, in such a situation the party can field a woman on one more seat. Overall, the Women’s Reservation Bill has also affected the process of ticket distribution. Both parties will reconsider their lists to give maximum tickets to women.

Congress will give ticket to Satyanarayan Patel. Only Mahendra Hardia will be able to compete with the tremendous preparation done by Sattu Patel this time. Gaurav Ranadive, Milind Mahajan or Nanuram Kumawat will not be able to stand against Sattu Patel. Overall, Indore defeated Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. His Ladli Brahmin scheme has emerged as a big current for BJP. The spark of this scheme was clearly seen among the workers. In Indore, there are four lakh registrations under Ladli Brahmin Yojana. BJP is getting separate credit for the Women’s Reservation Bill.

Chief Minister is continuously focusing on Indore

Seeing the political importance of Indore, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s focus remains on Indore, he comes to Indore almost every week. In Indore, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had a tremendous road show in all the six assembly constituencies. This road show was done under Jan Ashirwad Yatra. Most enthusiasm was seen in area numbers 2, 3 and 4. The roads in the market area were covered with flowers. In a way, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has created an election atmosphere in Indore. Due to his Jan Ashirwad Yatra, it will now be easier for BJP to intensify the campaign. The Chief Minister kept with him either the MLAs from all the assembly constituencies or the candidates who had lost in the last elections. This also indicates that BJP is not in a position to make much changes in Indore.
