SBI donates traffic safety equipment to Bhopal police on Foundation Day

Bhopal: On the occasion of its 70th Foundation Day, the State Bank of India (SBI) undertook an innovative and socially responsible initiative by gifting safety barricades and traffic stoppers to the Traffic Police Department in Bhopal. This significant step reflects the Bank’s strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

A special program was organized to mark the occasion, during which the traffic control equipment was formally inaugurated by SBI’s Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Shri Chandra Shekhar Sharma. The event also saw the esteemed presence of Bhopal Police Commissioner, Shri Harinarayan Chari Mishra.

Other senior dignitaries in attendance included Shri Manish Mathpal, Deputy General Manager and Chief Development Officer (DGM & CDO), Shri Sai Krishna Sridhar, Deputy General Manager, B&O, along with other key police and bank officials.

In his inspiring address, DMD Shri Sharma remarked, “SBI’s 70th Foundation Day is not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of our commitment to serving society. This contribution of traffic control equipment is a step towards ensuring safer roads in Bhopal.”

This contribution is expected to enhance traffic management in the capital city and raise public awareness about road safety.
