Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a road show in the old Bhopal city today evening at 7 pm. During this time, he might also address the voters. 30 IPS officers, including Bhopal Police Commissioner, are monitoring the security arrangements of the Prime Minister. For the security arrangements of Modi, SPG special commandos will be deployed in three security circles.
A team of SPG officers from Delhi has reached the capital to handle the security arrangements of the Prime Minister’s program. SPG, along with Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra and district administration officials on Monday took stock of the security arrangements on the major roads of the city by testing their efficiency. During this time, a convoy of more than 50 vehicles was seen on the road. Around 2000 police personnel will be deployed from Roshanpura intersection to Old PHQ Chowk. A mock drill was also done on Monday.
SPG commandos will remain in three layers – a plan has been made to change the route for the program day. Policemen deployed in different areas have been instructed to check all the points continuously. For the security arrangements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, special commandos of SPG will be deployed in three security circles. While BJP has started preparations for Modi’s program, the police and administration are also busy making arrangements. Following the alert from intelligence agencies regarding the security of PM Narendra Modi in Bhopal, additional arrangements are being made here. Police have been deployed at railway stations, bus stands and urban borders in all four directions. Every suspect coming to the city is being chucked.
Congress opposed the inclusion of children

On Wednesday, a road show of BJP leader Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being organized in Bhopal in favor of the BJP candidate. In the said road show, the ruling BJP is pressurizing the students by issuing orders over phone to the officials of government and private schools, colleges and universities. Orders are being given to involve students in road shows, which is contrary to the guidelines of the Election Commission of India and is a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct. Congress leaders have demanded the Commission not to implement this order.
Old assembly route fixed
On this day, before the road show in the capital Bhopal, PM Narendra Modi will address public meetings in Sagar and Harda. He will come to Bhopal in the evening. Extra vigilance is being taken regarding the security of PM Narendra Modi in Bhopal. BJP had earlier prepared three routes for the PM’s road show. After inspection of all three routes, the Old Assembly route was decided. The road show will start from the statue of Lal Bahadur Shastri, right in front of the Old Assembly, which will go to Apex Circle via Roshanpura. More than 25 platforms will be set up on this route to welcome the PM. Before this, PM Narendra Modi had also done a road show in Jabalpur.
Security check of all the routes included in the program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been done. A team of 30 IPS officers along with ADG Chanchal Shekhar have been deployed to continuously monitor the entire arrangement of the road show. Additionally, additional police personnel have been called and deployed from nearby districts.
