  • Railway Hospital celebrates International Nurses Day with reverence and pride

Bhopal: West Central Railway’s Bhopal Division commemorated International Nurses Day with profound respect and vibrant enthusiasm at the Divisional Railway Hospital.

The event, presided over by Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Ajay Dogra and orchestrated under the leadership of Chief Nursing Officer Mrs. Lalita Lal, centered on this year’s powerful theme: “Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Achieving Quality, Ensuring Equity.” The celebration underscored the pivotal role of nurses, their leadership within healthcare, and their unwavering dedication.

Senior Physician Dr. Promise Jain delivered an insightful presentation on critical care, emphasizing the indispensable acumen, promptness, and specialized training of nursing staff in managing seriously ill patients.

Chief Nursing Officer Mrs. Lalita Lal eloquently highlighted the essential staff skills of nursing ethics, service, empathy, kindness, and adaptability, emphasizing how these qualities elevate nursing beyond a profession to a true vocation of service.

Nursing Superintendent Mrs. Rekha Pandey delivered a compelling address on patient care and safety, underscoring the nursing staff’s primary responsibility in ensuring patient well-being and comfort, a duty they fulfill with unwavering dedication and meticulous care.

The program concluded with the felicitation of all attending nursing staff with commemorative tokens, acknowledging their invaluable contributions and instilling renewed inspiration.

Simultaneously, railway health units in Bina, Itarsi, and Harda, under the Bhopal Division, echoed the celebrations with diverse programs, joyously honoring the selfless service of the nursing fraternity.
