Muni Shri urges followers to walk the path shown by Acharya Vidyasagar Ji

Bhopal: “A lamp may light a room, the sun may light the sky—but when an enlightened soul like Acharya Vidyasagar Ji rises, all ten directions shine,” said Muni Shri, marking the 58th Diksha anniversary of the revered Acharya.

Reflecting on Acharya Vidyasagar Ji’s profound legacy, Muni Shri unveiled a powerful four-point resolution: Make Jain, Increase Jain, Save Jain, and Settle Jain. Citing Gurudev’s own haiku—“When the sun rises in one direction, all ten directions rejoice”—he likened the Acharya’s life to a spiritual sun, dispelling darkness through knowledge, penance, and restraint.

Describing his virtues, Muni Shri said, “To call him merely a Jain Acharya is to limit the infinite. He embodied the elements—earth’s forgiveness, water’s serenity, fire’s austerity, air’s detachment, and sky’s vastness.”

He urged followers not just to admire Gurudev’s path, but to walk, preserve, and spread it. His sutras offer clear direction: Jainism must be chosen by action, enriched through education, protected by culture, and rooted in society.

Muni Shri also announced plans for an international Jain University, inspired by the success of Shri Vidyapraman Gurukulam in Bhopal, to nurture the next generation of enlightened thinkers.

Avinash Jain, the spokesperson, added that Muni Sangh’s Chaturmas will be observed at Avadhpuri Gurukulam, with Kalash Sthapana on July 13.
