  • Hiding in bunkers from Missile Attacks = Family pleads for her return

Narmadapuram: As the conflict between Iran and Israel intensifies, a daughter of Madhya Pradesh, Pratibha Ahirwar, finds herself trapped in the war-torn region. Currently pursuing her PhD in the city of Haifa, she is enduring every moment under the terrifying shadow of missile attacks. Her family in Narmadapuram has shared the harrowing details of her ordeal.

Pratibha has conveyed to her family that the situation in Haifa is dire, with constant missile attacks forcing residents into bunkers for safety. She must remain vigilant, constantly monitoring her phone for alerts that signal an immediate need to seek shelter. The incessant blare of sirens day and night has disrupted her routine, leaving her desperate for assistance.

Pratibha’s father, Om Prakash Ahirwar, is a veteran who served in the Kargil War and is currently with the Sainik Kalyan Board in Narmadapuram. He revealed his daughter’s strong desire to return home, but the lack of direct flights has made her repatriation impossible.

Trapped amidst the conflict, Pratibha is deeply concerned for her safety, while her family back home is consumed by worry, glued to their televisions for any news of the war. Pratibha and other Indian students are anxiously awaiting help, hoping for a safe return to their homeland. Her family has issued a heartfelt appeal to the central government, urging them to facilitate the immediate return of Indian students from Israel.
