Bhopal: Congress spokesperson Praveen Dholpure said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has finally accepted the demand of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to abolish the Goods and Services Tax (GST). He described the decision as historic, emphasising that it would provide significant relief to traders and the general public. According to Congress, Rahul Gandhi had consistently advocated the removal of GST to reduce the tax burden on citizens. Dholpure added that this step would directly benefit both the business community and consumers, marking a major move in the interest of the people.
