Bhopal: A chilling tale of jealousy and murder has unfolded in Bhopal, revealing a shocking twist in the death of a live-in partner. The victim, identified as Ritika Sen, was reportedly having an affair with her boss – a discovery that sent her married boyfriend, Sachin Rajput, into a murderous rage.
Fueled by alcohol, Sachin arrived home and strangled Ritika to death. In a horrifying turn, he remained with her body for two days after the crime. The truth only emerged on the fourth day when, while drinking with a friend, Sachin confessed to the horrific act, leading to the unraveling of the murder.
Investigations reveal that the accused, Sachin Rajput, is a married man and a father of two. He and Ritika had been in a live-in relationship for three and a half years, having moved to Gayatri Nagar in Kararia Farm, Bajaria area, nine months ago. Ritika worked a private job, but Sachin’s suspicion grew as he noticed her prolonged phone conversations with her boss. This suspicion, police say, ultimately drove him to become a killer.
The incident reportedly occurred on the 27th when Sachin, under the influence of alcohol, got into an argument with Ritika. He allegedly assaulted her before strangling her. After committing the murder, he wrapped her body in a sheet and fled the scene.
