Khagaria MP Mehboob Ali Kaiser joins RJD ahead of LS polls

Patna, Apr 21 (UNI) Sitting Khagaria MP Mehboob Ali Kaiser on Sunday joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) after he was denied a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar.

RJD spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan said that Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and state party president Jagdanand Singh gave membership to Kaiser at a program organized at the party office here today.

Kaisar, the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) founder and former Union Minister, who was a close associate of the late Ram Vilas Paswan, accused LJP-Ram Vilas national president and Jamui MP Chirag Paswan of selling tickets, saying, “The betrayal has not been not done by me, but by Chirag Paswan”.

On this occasion, senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav took a dig at Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal United (JDU) national president Nitish Kumar without naming him.

“Our uncle has been hijacked by four-five people.” When I write the book, I will discuss all these things in detail. But it is true that as long as I was with them, I stood by them like a son”.
