Bhopal: The city of Bhopal is set to witness the inauguration of “Gurukulam, in a new form” a significant initiative under the guidance of Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj, founder of Gunayatan. During the Deepawali Milan function organized by Gunayatan Bhopal, Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj expressed his blessings and shared his thoughts on this new endeavor. He emphasized that the spirit behind the Bhopal Chaturmas had been realized, and now, a grand project was coming to life in the capital.
Spokesperson Avinash Jain Vidyavani revealed that Muni Shri had highlighted Bhopal’s unique fortune in hosting this international-level initiative, set to feature prominent personalities from across India and the globe. Scheduled for November 7-9, the three-day event promises to be a landmark occasion for the city and its residents. Muni Shri referred to this initiative as the beginning of “Vidyapraman Gurukulam,” which aims to launch several significant projects to preserve Jainism and promote societal welfare.
Muni Shri encouraged the people to contribute to this noble cause, emphasizing that even small contributions are valuable, as illustrated by the example of the squirrel in the Ram Setu. He urged the community to focus on building institutions, not just temples, to ensure the future of Jainism.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Madhya Bharat Gunayatan President Narendra Jain Tongya, D. Jain Panchayat Bhopal President Manoj Banga, and Gurukulam President Vineet Godha, among others.
