Mumbai, July 28 (UNI) Celebrated actress Rashmika Mandanna is poised to portray a pathbreaking character in her upcoming pan-India action drama ‘Mysaa’, which has been launched ceremoniously with a traditional puja, signalling the commencement of the ambitious cinematic venture.
Ditching her familiar on-screen personas, Rashmika will now be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, portraying a gritty, emotionally driven warrior from Gond tribal community. The film has already captured public attention with the release of its powerful title and riveting first-look poster.
Helmed by Rawindra Pulle and backed by Unformula Films, “Mysaa” will be helmed on a grand scale and released nationwide, with the potential to make across linguistic and regional boundaries. The launch witnessed the presence of several industry stalwarts including producer Suresh Babu garu and director Hanu Raghavapudi, who lent their support and vision to the project.
Principal photography commences tomorrow in Hyderabad, with Rashmika herself diving into the production from day one.
Acclaimed cinematographer Shreyas P. Krishna, whose recent work in Surya’s “Retro” was widely lauded, will handle the visual storytelling. He will be behind the lens, promising a visually arresting experience.
