United Nations, (UNI) The Gabonese Mission to the United Nations is continuing its work in context of Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba house arrest, a UN source said on Wednesday.
“The mission is working normally,” the source told Sputnik.
Earlier today, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow is concerned with the situation in Gabon where military seized power early on Wednesday and expects it will stabilize soon.
On Wednesday, Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba has been placed under house arrest, while his son has been detained after the military seized power.
