Bhopal: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 41-year-old excavator machine operator in the Sukhi Sewania area on Tuesday night. The deceased, identified as Suresh Dabar, was seriously injured after an unidentified car ran over his bike near Imliya village around 8 PM.
Originally a resident of Raisen district, Suresh was working in Ratanpur and was on his way when the accident occurred. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries during treatment early Wednesday morning.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to trace the unknown vehicle and driver.
Suresh is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters. After post-mortem on Wednesday afternoon, his body was handed over to the family. The last rites will be performed in his ancestral village, and relatives have taken the body for final rites.
