CM Mohan Yadav to distribute Rs 600 crore to labor families on April 30

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will distribute Rs 600 crore in a single click to 27,523 beneficiaries under the Sambal Yojana on April 30 in Umarban, Dhar district. This initiative aims to provide significant financial relief to workers in the unorganized sector across the state.

The Sambal Yojana is a crucial program for millions of workers in the state, offering financial aid under various circumstances. For instance, families of workers who die in accidents receive Rs 4 lakh, while those who pass away due to natural causes are provided Rs 2 lakh. Additionally, permanent disability grants Rs 2 lakh, partial disability offers Rs 1 lakh, and funeral assistance is Rs 5,000. Women workers also benefit from Rs 16,000 maternity assistance, and their children receive full tuition fees for higher education through the state government’s Mahavidhyalay Shiksha Protsahan Yojana.

In a recent move, gig and platform workers have also been included in the Sambal Yojana, with their registration now underway. The scheme also provides beneficiaries with food security eligibility, ensuring access to subsidized ration.

Since its inception, the Sambal Yojana has registered over 1.75 crore workers, distributing over Rs 6,432 crore in benefits across more than 6.81 lakh cases from 2018 to the present.
