Bhopal, Senior IPS officer Chanchal Shekhar, a 1995-batch officer and currently serving as Additional Director General (ADG) of SAF, Madhya Pradesh Police, has officially assumed charge as the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh IPS Association.
Along with Chanchal Shekhar, other office-bearers of the newly-formed body also took charge of their respective roles.
The new team includes Amit Singh, Mrs. Monika Shukla, Rahul Lodha, Akhil Patel, and Ravi Gupta.
In a brief ceremony, Ravi Gupta felicitated Chanchal Shekhar by presenting him with a bouquet, marking the formal commencement of his tenure as the Association’s Chairman.
Following the assumption of charge, the newly-elected members held initial discussions focused on organizing the upcoming IPS meet and various cultural initiatives aimed at fostering camaraderie and collaboration among officers.
The formation of the new body is expected to strengthen internal coordination within the IPS fraternity and enhance the planning of professional and community-building activities.
