Bihar set to elect NDA again for safe, bright future: Yogi Adityanath

Patna, Oct 29 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed confidence that people of Bihar will once again give the NDA an opportunity to serve them for a safe and bright future.

Addressing a series of election rallies in Raghunathpur, Shahpur, and Buxar Assembly constituencies on Wednesday, he said, “The double-engine government of BJP and JD(U) is working to restore Bihar’s lost prestige. Today, Bihar has everything that should have been achieved 50 years ago. Wherever the youth of Bihar have got an opportunity to work in the country, they have proven their talent and excellence.”

He added that for development, employment for the youth, prosperity of the farmers, and safety of women and daughters, an NDA government is once again going to be formed in Bihar.

The BJP leader launched a sharp attack on RJD candidate from Raghunathpur Osama Shahab, son of former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin. He said that a double-engine government is essential to eliminate criminals, Naxalism and Maoism.

He remarked, “The RJD candidate fielded from Raghunathpur has been infamous not only in this region but across the country and the world for his family’s criminal background. It was here in Siwan that acid attacks took place. Do not let the jungle raj return to Siwan.”

Addressing an election rally in Hayaghat, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh strongly criticised Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav. He attacked the era of Lalu’s jungle raj and Tejashwi’s promise of “a government job for every household.”

He said, “It is not possible to provide jobs to 2.8 crore people. They want to gain power by lying to the public. Our government may not be able to give a job to every household, but we will make every effort to connect every family with work and employment.”

Addressing Tejashwi, he said, “Where will you bring the money from? Don’t do politics by lying. You have your whole life to do politics. Don’t deceive the people by throwing dust in their eyes.”
