New Delhi Sept 6 (UNI) The woman who levelled gangrape allegations against TV Actor Ashish Kapoor, Air India official and others said she was allegedly dragged on the floor by pulling her hair by the accused.
She has also stated that the accused punched her repeatedly in the face.
A source said that she also managed to take a few photos when she was subjected to assault, but the cell phone was allegedly snatched by the accused.
“One cell phone was snatched by the accused, but she called the police from another one,” said the source.
The woman’s sister also called her. But the cell phone was picked by the accused. They allegedly sent wrong message to her sister.
The source claimed that Ashish Kapoor and others told the victim’s sister that she (the victim) had fallen down the stairs and collapsed.
The woman has alleged that she was blackmailed by the accused. They asked her to keep quiet else they would make her videos public.
According to the source, the victim has bruises all over her body.
Ashish Kapoor is currently in police custody. The police have conducted a potency test on him.
The DCP of North Delhi confirmed to UNI that the test was conducted yesterday. Kapoor is currently in four-day police custody. The police are taking him to Pune to recover cell phones.
According to police, the victim met Aashish Kapoor on Instagram. An official said, “The initial FIR included the names of Ashish Kapoor, his friend, the friend’s wife and two unknown individuals. Later, the victim changed her statement, saying only Aashish Kapoor had raped her.”
Aashish has played various roles in TV shows such as Aasheesh Saraswatichandra, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, Chhupaa Badal Mein, Dekha Ek Khwaab, Molkki, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Woh Sapna Sa and Bandini.
