Bhopal: On the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day, AIIMS Bhopal, under the leadership of Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, organized a special awareness campaign aimed at educating the public on brain tumors. Observed globally on June 8, this day serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection and proper treatment of brain tumors.
The campaign featured expert-led sessions focused on providing scientific and accurate information about brain tumors, including their symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options. Doctors emphasized that early detection and timely intervention are key to better outcomes for patients.

Interactive sessions allowed attendees to engage directly with specialists, helping dispel myths and clarify common misconceptions about the disease. Participants included faculty members, resident doctors, nursing officers, students, patients, and their attendants, all of whom actively contributed to the success of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh said, “In a country like India, where neurological conditions often remain undiagnosed until advanced stages, public awareness about brain tumors is critical.
