The grand Pikshika Parivartan ceremony held at Parshvanath Jinalaya in Ashoka Garden was a momentous occasion, celebrating the spiritual journey of Munishri 108 Upadhyay Vishok Sagar and Munishri 108 Vinibodh Sagar Muniraj, who are observing Chaturmas there. The event concluded with immense joy and reverence.
Media in-charge Ashok Jain Sarni said that the morning began with the Lord being anointed with Shanti Dhara, followed by a vibrant Mangalacharan performed by local school children in the afternoon. Devotees from Delhi presented a coconut to Gurudev, expressing their desire for him to visit Delhi.
In his discourse, Muni Shri explained the significance of Pikshika Parivartan as a symbol of soul purification and commitment to non-violence. The ritual involves changing the Pikshi after a year of use, which signifies renewal. Both Munirajs donated their old Pikshis and donned new ones during the ceremony.
The event was graced by notable attendees, including Manoj Banga, President of the Panchayat Committee Trust, and Sachendra Jain, President of the Ashoka Garden Jain Society, among others. The ceremony attracted a large gathering of devotees, who praised the event’s heartfelt significance.
