Amit Shah hails RSS for 100 yrs of nation-building and service

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah today lauded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for its unparalleled contribution to nation-building over the past 100 years.

In a post on X, Amit Shah, while highlighting the organisation’s core values of national service, dedication, and discipline, emphasised the pivotal role played by RSS volunteers in times of both crisis and calm.

“With the core principles of national service, dedication, and discipline, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has made a remarkable contribution to nation-building over the past 100 years,” Shah said.

He said, “Whether it be a natural disaster or an accident, the volunteers of the Sangh have always stepped forward to help. Over the last century, these volunteers have made “Nation First” the purpose of their lives, working tirelessly with compassion and commitment.”

He further added that to mark the centenary celebrations of the RSS and to honour its enduring legacy of sacrifice and service, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative postage stamp and coin.
