Set against the harrowing backdrop of the 2020 Galwan valley skirmish between Indian and Chinese forces, the film revisits a chapter of modern Indian military history that is emotionally charged as it is geopolitically significant.

He grips a weapon wrapped in barbed wire, standing against the chilling backdrop snow-capped Himalayan peaks, a stark reference to the actual terrain where the historic standoff occurred.

Directed by Arpoova Lakhia, ‘Battle of Galwan’ aspires not merely to chronicle a conflict but to pay homage to the heroism, sacrifice and national pride that defined one of India’s most poignant military confrontations in recent memory. On June 15, 2020 this clash claimed the lives of soldiers on both sides, becoming a symbol of sacrifice and unflinching duty.
