Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – In a crucial step against human trafficking, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Bhopal Division, West Central Railway, successfully rescued three minor children from begging, under their ongoing “Operation Nanhe Farishte” (Little Angels).
During a routine check on train number 22538 from Narmadapuram to Bhopal, Sub-Inspector Awadhesh Kumar and Constable Krishna Kumar discovered a boy and two girls begging in a sleeper coach. The children, identified as Mansi (15), Anushka (15), and Ganesu (7), all residents of Nala Mohalla, Itarsi, Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh, stated their parents were at work, and they begged to cover their expenses.
The RPF team swiftly brought the children to the RPF Post in Bhopal. Following notification to Child Welfare Committee member Dhani Ram Pawar, and after a health check-up, the children were safely handed over to the Bal Niketan Bhawan on Hamidia Road, Bhopal.
