Bhopal: A vibrant and musical rendition of the Sundarkand was recently concluded at the residence of Shri Balwant Singh Shakya, the Madhya Pradesh State President of the All India Koli Samaj (Regd.) New Delhi Branch. This devotional event, a cherished tradition, has been observed annually for the past 31 years.
The soulful recitation of the Sundarkand was performed by the artists of the Sahastrabahu Sanskritik Mandal. Esteemed members of the ???? included Padmashri Banwari Lal Chokse, Shri Balwant Singh Shakya, Shri Sitaram Thakur, Shri Haricharan Meena, Shri Krishna Yadav, Shri Kushwah, Shri Ram Kishan Meena, Shri Lakhan Singh Vishwakarma, and Shri Dalpat Kushwah.
A large gathering of devout individuals enjoyed the musical rendition. Among the notable attendees were Corporator Rajesh Chokse, Manish Chokse, Harinarayan Shakya, Amit Shakya, Kashiram Shakya, Pyarelal Shakya, Suresh Shakya, Jaisingh Shakya and Santosh Verma. Everyone present enjoyed the melodious chanting and received the blessings and prasad of Lord Hanuman, the ardent devotee of Lord Shri Ram.
The Sundarkand program took place at State President Balwant Singh Shakya’s residence, 506 Shakya Bhawan, opposite Durga Mandir, Anand Nagar, Bhopal.
