Aadi Kumar crowned and obtains Diksha after renunciation

Bhopal: Suvartapuram – The Panchkalyanak Mahotsav witnessed a grand spiritual celebration on Sunday as the holy site transformed into Ayodhya for the ceremonial coronation of Prince Aadi. According to Manoj Banga, Chairman of the Panchayat Committee Trust Bhopal, and Secretary Manoj RM, the event marked several significant religious milestones.

Prince Aadi was ceremoniously crowned, appointed Mahamandaleshwar, and designated his Commander. In his teachings, he shared the six karmas — including Asi, Masi, and agriculture — and gave moral guidance to the community. Celebrations included a graceful dance performance by Neelanjana. Her sudden death deeply moved Prince Aadi, who then renounced worldly life, accepted initiation, and ultimately attained the status of a monk.

On Sunday morning, the rituals of vessel purification, Abhishek Shantidhara, daily puja, and Janma Kalyanak worship were performed. During the Diksha Kalyanak celebration, the Jain community collectively took a solemn pledge to preserve national unity and protect cows.

Lifelong vow of celibacy

A spiritually significant moment occurred when President of the Bhopal Jain Samaj, Manoj Banga, and his wife Preeti Banga, took a lifelong vow of celibacy and had the honor of offering a new Pichi (peacock-feather broom) to Rishabh Sagar Ji Maharaj.

Joining them in the vow were Manoj’s younger brother Pradeep and his wife Sapna, along with Sunil Jain Libas and his wife Monika, marking a deeply transformative moment for all involved.
