5.3-magnitude quake hits south of Kermadec Islands – GFZ

Beijing, May 3 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted south of Kermadec Islands at 2337 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 33.27 degrees south latitude and 179.12 degrees west longitude.
