- Police said- eunuchs attacked with knife
Bhopal: A youth was brutally murdered. His throat was slit with a sharp weapon and he was stabbed on the chest with a knife. According to the police, eunuchs are accused of the murder. Two eunuchs have also been injured in the attack. However, it is not yet clear what the dispute was about.
The incident took place at Band Master Square on Sunday morning around 8 am. The deceased has been identified as Adil. His brother said- Some friends reached Adil’s house at around 6 am. They took him with them. They had come by car, but parked it near the house and left on a bike.
At around 8.30 am we got information that seriously injured Adil was lying on the road. We reached the spot and took Adil to Hamidia Hospital. He died during treatment here. Talaiya police station is just 200 meters away from the incident spot.
Adil got married on February 22. About one and a half years ago, Aadil’s brother Amir Barkhedi was murdered in Jahangirabad area.
Eyewitness Munnawar Ali said, ‘I saw four eunuchs kicking and punching Aadil. We tried to intervene, but they did not listen. One eunuch was also injured in the fight. Another one has an injury in the hand.
Police station in-charge CS Rathore said, ‘Initial investigation has revealed that eunuchs had injured Aadil by stabbing him. Investigation of the case is going on, CCTV footage is being examined. The suspects have also been injured, they have gone for treatment. The police will soon take them into custody and interrogate them.’
