Youth dies of suicide, blames in-laws in note

Bhopal: In a tragic incident, 26-year-old Imran Khan reportedly took his own life by hanging in his home in the Bhauri area of Khajuri on Monday morning. In a suicide note, Imran attributed his despair to ongoing conflicts with his mother-in-law, Sadida, alleging that she consistently provoked his wife against him and threatened to file false dowry claims.

According to police reports, the family dispute took a turn for the worse late Sunday night when Imran’s in-laws arrived and took his wife and two children away. Following this, Imran sent a final message to a colleague, Aman, instructing him to take care of the garage where he worked as a denting and painting specialist.

Imran’s brother-in-law, Syed Javed Ali, recounted that the atmosphere in the house had become increasingly tense, with frequent quarrels instigated by the mother-in-law.

Khajuri police station’s ASI Singh confirmed that a suicide note had been recovered, which implicates Imran’s in-laws in his tragic decision. The investigation is ongoing, and the body has been handed over to the family following a postmortem examination.
