World-class university to be built in Riddhapur: Devendra Fadnavis

Nashik, Oct 25 (UNI) Keeping in mind contribution of Riddhapur, a pilgrimage site, to keep alive the Marathi language, a Marathi Language University has been established there and efforts will be made to make this university world famous, declared Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today.

Speaking at the 38th session of the All India Mahanubhav Parishad organized at Jaishankar Lawns here, he recalled how Sarvajna Chakradhar Swami, along with showing spiritual direction to the common man of the country, gave the idea of establishing equality in the society.

This idea of equality is important for the state and the country, he said.

The Swami also enriched the Marathi language with his literature, along with Mahanubhav ideas, he worked tirelessly to establish Marathi as an elite language, the CM said.

The literature produced during this period provides information about the geography, history and culture of contemporary Maharashtra, he noted and informed that it is a treasure trove of cultural progress.

Despite various invasions, the teachings of Mahanubhav have become embedded in the society, enabling this cult to spread across the country and even in Afghanistan.

Bhagwan Chakradhar Swami, through the Mahanubhav cult, instilled the idea given by Lord Krishna in the Bhagwat Gita in the society, and brought the society on the right path, he said.

When there was discrimination and inequality in the society, Chakradhar Swami did the work of showing them the right path by uniting the entire society with the idea of Mahanubhav.

After becoming the Chief Minister, he took upon himself the responsibility of developing the Mahanubhav sect, Fadnavis added and assured that the problems of the Mahanubhav sect will be solved soon.

Newly elected National President of the Parishad Mohan Karanjekar said that due to the cooperation of CM Fadnavis, various activities of Mahanubhav Parishad have started.
