Bhopal: In a daring theft at Raj Shree Jewelers showroom in Malviya Nagar, Bhopal, two women, accompanied by a child, stole gold bangles worth lakhs. The incident, which occurred on March 28, was captured on CCTV, leading to an FIR being registered by Arera Hills police.
According to police reports, the women visited the showroom near Roshanpura intersection and asked to see various gold bangles. Salesman Rajesh Agarwal showed them a wide selection, and they spent about half an hour browsing. Afterward, the women claimed they didn’t like any of the bangles and left the store. However, as the salesman began returning the jewelry to its boxes, he noticed one set of gold bangles was missing.
Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, it became clear that the women had stolen the bangles during their visit.
An FIR (number 62/25) was filed on March 29 based on the complaint from Rajesh Agarwal. Despite efforts to track down the suspects, they remain unidentified and at large. Police are continuing their investigation into the theft.
